Replacement front discs and pads up front, pattern parts on a 2013 Qashqai, rear pads swapped too. They were the originals, and where worn, were silent.

By a local garage, as car out of warranty. From the off, horrendous squealing.

They've had it back twice. I think they've removed/ refitted, cleaned up, and it's gone. And both times within 30 miles it comes back.

Only when pedal over 10% down, pretty much the whole way through the pedal so I can't modulate it out. Nothing is sticking, and it's really, really squealingly screamy, seriously, people cover their ears.

I can only think they're just cheap st.

How many more times do I go back/ what are my options?

They did the swap in March, I've been in to say "problem", and given it a few weeks until they've had it each time on the off chance it's something that will burn off.

I've been perfectly civil, they have not charged for investigation / clean ups, but I'm at the point of replacing the lot with someone else, which will really piss me off as they're not cheap to do.

There's your problem. Some aftermarket parts are good, even better than OE, some aren't!

Well yes, but now they're coated in whatever copper slip, with whatever shims slammed in to make up the (probable) gap, it's really annoying they squeal again so quickly!

Well I'm pleased to say that going back in today the main man said "Jees, I'll replace the lot", so fingers crossed for a better second set!
