Uneven Front Brake Pad Wear - FN2 Type R

Hi All,

I changed my front pads 3k miles ago, and at the same time, had fitted a New Nissin Caliper as previous caliper was sticking. After, 3k miles of normal and fast road driving, the outer pad in the new caliper is quite badly worn (less than 20% remains). It also seems to have worn a little more on the lower section of pad.

The other driver side pads have lots of life left in them (more than 50%)

What might be the cause of uneven pad wear, particularly in side that has a brand new caliper?

PS: The alignment of the car appears good, and tyres wear evenly.

If it's a single sided caliper, the slides could be sticking. (I'd wonder whether that was the original problem too.)
