Compatible springs for VW GOLF MK5 GT SPORT
Discussion
Hi,
Im after seeing if anyone provide me with the correct springs that are available for my vehicle all the way from your normal springs to your performance suspension kits as I don't want to make the wrong mistake of purchasing the wrong product/s
The Vehicle Details I have at hand:
Manufacturer: Volkswagen
Model: MK5 GOLF GT SPORT TDI 170 (DSG) 5 DOOR HATCHBACK
Date of Registration: 06.09.2007
Type Varient: ACBNMXO
Type Version: FA6FA62E0187GGN1
VIN: WVWZZZ1KZ8W068159
Engine number: BMN 074750
Axel load limit front: 1090
Axel load limit rear: 880
Cars sitting on 17" wheels that come standard
VW PR numbers for my vehicle
1JC - Rear shock absorption for sports design (DFH)
G07 - Front shock absorption (DFV)
L58 - Suspension range 58 installation control only, no requirement forecast (GKV)
Lastly If its of any help one of the rear coils on the vehicle has a colour code which im guessing is for the spring rate (not 100%) so if it helps its blue, brown, brown, brown
Any help would be great I know that the vehicle is already lowered as standard and don't really want to affect the handling by lowering it too much maybe an additional 20mm wouldn't hurt but want the springs fitted on the original front suspension shocks and rear axle setup so if having reinforced/heavy duty springs would be a benifit to last the next 100k or any advice in general would be appreciated
Thanks
