weird feeling in steering wheel when accelerating

hey all - I have a 2010 Nissan Note and there's a slight knock feeling (no noise) whenever accelerating, almost feels like something is loose - any ideas?

Could be a knackered engine or gearbox mount allowing a bit of movement or worn steering rack mounts or suspension components.
You really need to get the car in the air to have a good feel around for any play.
