grinding noise form brakes

[325Ti]

repalced the front discs and pads on wifes 2012 mondeo titanium 2.2

passenger side has a real grinding / metallic rubbing sound

took all off and checked, cleaned everything and put copper grease on

but no improvment

cant see anything obvious

any thoughts?

Check theres nothing between the rear of the disc and the dust shield, or that the dust shield hasnt been bent slightly and isnt rubbing the disc - the clearance can be pretty slim.
