I just wanted to share this tip that I have just discovered thanks to this chap's video on YouTube. I spent yesterday battling to remove a rusted-on wheel bearing/hub assembly on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, eventually I had to give up as it wouldn't budge at all with any application of a big slide hammer, various pullers, a big hammer, screwdrivers etc... The wheel studs were stuck fast too and I wasn't happy about using the large 3-leg puller against the driveshaft end, so I was totally stumped.

I happened upon this video while looking for some hints, popped to Screwfix this morning and got some M10 threaded extenstions for about £5, and got both hubs off within about 5 minutes per side, and all it took were two 17mm spanners and two short m10 bolts.

I'm hoping this may help some other amateur home mechanics not to get as stuck as I was.
