Golf Mk5 R32 suspension too low
Discussion
It seems I am looking for the opposite of most R32 owners. I live where there are lots of car park entry ramps with metal gate stoppers in the middle which catch the under engine protection or the exhaust silencer box. I bought a 2008 R32 with lowered suspension, bought the most 'normal' suspension I could to raise it a bit which is still 2cm or so too low; JOM 741053.
Does anyone know which suspension kit I need to make it standard height please? I believe I need 4 motion specific so even 2.0 tdi sus will work and raise it.

So you want standard suspension.....so buy something totally different ?
And you can't find standard suspension....on a car there must be thousands of ? You're saying Volkswagen do not sell parts for this car ?
Or any myriad of breakers that might have one ? Or any motor factors that sell replacement parts ?
Stop making things difficult for yourself.
It took me all of 30s to find standard parts on Euro's site.

I’ve confirmed what I bought before was wrong and no further in finding what I need.
Thanks PHs

There are 3 answers above telling you to go standard or how/where to find it, and even the price.

This place really is getting full of helpful bar-stewards isn't it...
Some of them even think it is clever to drag politics in too
Why would anyone who doesn't already know the answer to their question want to come here for help, with the responses here?
I know that most of the posters in this thread know their stuff, I just don't get why they have to jump on someone who asks what the experts think is a stupid question...

Well, this has been quite unconstructive.

So the OP was told EXACTLY how to resolve his problem, and even how and where to get those parts. Some of them even think it is clever to drag politics in too

Yet throws a strop somehow...and you come to blame the people telling him how to resolve his problem....that he deliberately chooses to ignore ?
Where was the help missing ?
Choosing to be offended when you get help, and others getting offended thereafter, really is bizarre. Such a sad reflection on what society has become, where they get offended from people helping them !

That looks -less- helpful than the standard internet JFGI response.
Oh well, if you want to come across as smug and annoying, that isn't my problem, is it?

So would you like someone to buy it for him and then fit it ? How helpful does one need to be ?That looks -less- helpful than the standard internet JFGI response.

There really are far too many busting to be offended snowflakes everywhere, and it's sad they've infiltrated forums like these too.
