Hi,

First time poster here.
Last week my gf's Focus CC failed MOT due to a broken coil spring. Garage quoted me £85 plus VAT and labour just to change the broken one, so I though that maybe I can replace both shocks and coil springs on the front axle.

So I have found these two websites:
https://www.bilsteinsuspensionstore.co.uk/
https://www.bilstein-shocks.co.uk/

Prices of £70-80 for the OEM shocks are lower than ECP.
Has anyone heard of them/bought anything using these online stores?

Do you have the right tools for replacing a a coil spring?
A spring compressor is a minimum.

Bilstein is a top brand name, been making quality shocks and springs for as long as I can remember.

Second site seems a bit iffy to me. If I was in the market for cheap shocks I'd go for the first site you mentioned.
