Hi all,

I had my rear tyres replaced last month and have unfortunately noticed today that I have this crack on the sidewall. Does this need to be replaced (bearing in mind my MOT is in 3 days).

Looks like superficial damage to me so I would keep it. If it bulges like a blister or spot then I would get it replaced.

Wouldn't be too worried about it

Looks like a minor scuff rather than a crack. Looks negligible from the photos.

Looks to me as if it may have been curbed. The damage doesn't look significant to me but it's the MOT inspector's opinion that matters and you'll know that soon enough.

Nothing there for a mot tester
No splits cords on show or budges
