Hi, I have a 25 year old ATE master cylinder off a German car that needs overhauling, any suggestions of a company I can send it to for this type of work.

You almost certainly want to replace rather than repair.

If this type is no longer available and especially precious you could get one rebored in any machine shop but you'd need to replace the piston(s) too. That will be massively more expensive as a one-off than buying a new mass produced component off the shelf.

What's the car?

You could try Big Red Brakes.

is 2nd hand an option? I'm sure Douglas Valley would have one on the shelf.

Tried Douglas Valley, they’re quiet rare as they only fit four-wheel drives & RS variants, which are the versions with the hydraulic pump.
