Help is this tyre repairable?

have a screw in my rear tyre, really need the car tommorow and this size tyre is never in stock.

The tyre hasn’t been run flat, Can it be repaired do you think?

dont see an issue with it , be ready for dirt bag at the tyre center to try and cheat you into buying a tyre cus of safety innit

Yep, if you’re going to get something in your tyre you want to get it back on that spot.

Yes. Easy repair.

You could do that yourself in ten mins with a repair kit, the type you push in with a tool like a large needle. I did one recently on the outer edge. Worked perfectly. Garage would not have done it as it was near the edge.

Mind you a local co should charge you £10 to repair that.

Yes, looks like a P Zero, I had exactly the same on a new 305 wide one, so want really up for replacing it. Mine was holding air for a few days and only dropping a few psi, noticed it on the tpms.

I think some would say there’s a reason a garage wouldn’t repair a puncture in that location.

There most probably is ( I know for sure they are not allowed to), but on a Skoda Yeti, that trundles into town and not much else, and occasionally hits 70 on the motoway, I can handle the risk :-)

Looks very easily repairable. Even with the DIY plugs.

Or as a get you home measure, a much larger screw.

I recently had a similar puncture in a new, £250 tyre but near the sidewall. Tracked down a tyre specialist who did a proper vulcanised repair for £28. Result!

It’s been repaired at the tyre place thankfully.

Needed the thread as reassurance, took the car out late last night for a quick run to make sure all is ok for my trip today, exit the car to a hissing sound.

Couldn’t believe it!
