I ordered a pair of 89 load rating all season car tyres, however instead they fitted 93 load rating XL versions.

I only noticed when I got home, and apparently it doesnt matter. They have offered a discount if I keep them.

Do I need to worry about them?

Other than them being slightly firmer sidewalls it makes no difference to you.

They Are stronger and less likely to get damaged by a pot hole at the expense of a slightly firmer ride

Wouldn’t worry me unless the ride is noticeably harsher than with the non XL tyres.

Yes, check the tyre pressures are correct and if the ride is OK.

Thanks. They seem fine, the car is fairly crashy anyway and its only used round the town

Be rude not to take them up on that offer.
