Had EBC Yellowstuff and DS2500 in the past.
Wouldn't recommend Yellowstuff, but DS2500 did the business, if somewhat dusty.

I've had Yellow Stuff on both my Type R FN2 and my Jaguar XK. Big fan of them. They're my Go-To road + compound on fast cars now, having transformed the stopping power on my FN2 (without a brake upgrade kit)

Yellow stuff are ok, but m1144 are far better, I run them allround on my car with AP brakes front and rear. No squeal, which was a must for me.

I like the DS2500. In the past I've found EBC pads wear the discs far more than any other pads I've used - I seemed to be replacing discs practically every pad change.

OE pads will cope perfectly well with normal road use.

No such thing as "fast road use" unless you have an airfield in your back garden.

Just sayin'. wink

EBC - No, no and again no......

The only pads I've ever had which went hard on me when hot - really scary and I'd encourage people never to touch them, not with someone else's bargepole.

DS2500 squeal a bit but work very well when warm and it's been years since I've used M1144s so can't comment.

EBC Yellowstuffs are generally good - I was apprehensive at first given the early 2000's horror stories which are still lingering on the internet, but they work well enough.

Probably a winner for price / performance.

They did fiddle with the compound recently due to environmental legislation, so they've moved a bit more road / general use biased.

If you want bonkers pads, EBC RPX are hilarious (But completely miss the brief here smile )

OEM Pads are a sound bet for the road unless you've got something with oddly under-specced brakes.

Dixcel ES, If available, are a good match for performance OEM Pads and often very cheap, though track use will give spooky friction fade biggrin

Avoid Brembo-OEM Equivalent pads; I have some I bought on sale for emergency "I destroyed my pads on track" use - When I actually ran a set of rears for a while, they were stunningly squealy for a run of the mill pad.
