Uneven Tyre Wear

I had two tyres fitted a year ago. Same brand and model, on the front of my car. I only really noticed yesterday when it was parked on full lock that one tyre looks like it is 6 months older than the other in terms of wear. It looks even across the width of it. Just more wear over the full face of it. Is it common?

You have checked to ensure both tyres are at the correct pressure?

I find that the nearside tyre tend to wear a little bit faster, especially if you go around roundabouts a lot.
