Winter - what to do with tyre pressures

Car usually has 2.6 Bar.

Today woke up in the freezing sub zero cold. Car showing low tyre pressures at 2.3 bar.

Do I need to top up? or is this normal?

As long as they are all the same, I wouldn't worry.

It's perfectly normal for pressure to get lower with temperature.

And arguably....lower pressure might be better, at least in actual proper winter conditions. Although tread with caution.

I wouldn’t worry either. Tyres warm up with use which causes the pressure increase.

I'd adjust tyre pressures depending on ambient temperature, so yes, I'd top them up when cold. And then potentially let pressure out when it warms up again.

Yust let pressure flow with temperature change.
My long story disapeared accidently .
But at 40 degrC certainly dont lower the pressure to your 2.6 bar, otherwise yust overheated tyre-material.

At freesing 0 degrC not needed to highen up pressure to 2.6 bar for savety of tyres, so they dont overheat, but allowed for fuellsaving and riding quality.

Saves you a lot of maniacaly changing the pressure every time, and saves you frosen fingers in the cold.
