Have been trying to get hold of a set of EBCDP31741C for my Saleen, everywhere so far has no stock as from what i have been informed via email from one company is the following....
It looks to be an accessory issue which is holding the factory back from fulfilling a batch of these. It’ll likely be the same case for a number of other pads as well.
All compounds in this shape are out of stock so it’s not just the reds, it’s all road going pads in this shape.

Anyone else struggling to get hold of EBC pads?

Personally, if it were me I wouldn't even consider fitting pads from EBC on such a car, I would take it as a sign for it being time to find something better.

Why?

Have them on there now (front & rear) and not had any problems, even impressed with how little dust they create.
Need to replace the discs all round so going to stick with like for like on the pads

That tracks with my experience. EBC pad wear was pretty low in heavy use in my experience, but disc wear under heavy use was unusually high.

I have tried all compounds from EBC on various (track day admittedly) cars before & found them to wear both discs and pads very heavily and also not even with the benefit of being cheap & performing adequately.

IMHO there are much better pads out there.

Agreed - for a set of 'fast road' pads that wouldn't slow the car down.

Just awful and would never touch them again.

Ferodo DS2500 have proved to be an excellent solution.

Do not cover enough miles in a year to worry about disc wear (2-3k) but not had problems with lack of braking effect with the redstuff hence my reson for replacing like for like
