Rear Tyres Cupping/Scalloping ....Again.
Discussion
FWD saloon car with 77 K miles, second set of rear tyres making noise after 22 000miles
with plenty meat left on them. The cupping is on inboard tread and worse on the rear nearside wheel.
255-45-19 Tyres are mid-range price, no idea of the soft or hard compound, rear shocks seem fine
and not leaking, rims are OK, rear alignment spot on.
My car spends 99% of time with just me, meaning very little weight on rear, plus my adjustable suspension
setting on "Comfort" all the time which means bouncy ride and light steering.
Is the rear suspension just too soft, maybe put it in the "Sport" setting ?
