New tyres, bad vibes

I've had a new full set of Goodyear's put on a car which was previously vibration free but now has a mild/moderate vibration 50-65mph or so.
They've been balanced twice, the second time round making what I thought was a slight improvement, but after 100 miles of motorway driving the vibration returned and seemed to worsen over time during a 250 mile journey.
Are there any tyre issues that can cause such a thing? I'm really baffled by it. It seemed to trigger the tyre pressure warning at one point, which work off the wheel speed sensors. There are no tyre pressure losses.
Given the previous good character I have no concerns over suspension/brakes etc. It's a young, low mile car.

Not by me. There's no damage to the outer wheel faces, they all look pristine aside from the one the tyre fitters scratched. I've looked at the inner sides as best I can but can't see anything. I struggle to think of something that a tyre fitter could do to a rim to cause this. Or maybe I just don't want to.
FWIW it's a highish profile SUV tyre, which I'd expect to be a relative piece of piss to install.
