Recently ordered some Delphi - Lockheed discs for me car. Meant to be a good OEM style disc, but not at Peugeots extraordinary expense of £120 for a pair of 283x22mm discs.

www.delphiauto.co.uk/default.asp

Delphi make Lockheed brakes, and they make Borg and Beck clutches.

However, the OEM clutch for a Peugeot is Valeo, but I hear it's just a re-branded Borg and Beck clutch.

Just how many levels of OEM and manufacturing names are there usually. It wouldn't surprise me if all OEM consumeables at Puegeot, under their respective names, are all just Delphi subsidiaries.

It wouldn't surprise me if I buy OEM Pug discs, I really get a re-branded and inflated price Delphi-Lockheed set...

Anyone used Lockheed discs? Hoping they are good and don't warp easily.

Cheers

Lockheed are a well know and long-established brand. Don't know who owns them but if it were my car, I wouldn't loose too much sleep as long as SOMEONE had put their name on them! The really scary ones are the dirt cheap ones sold by some motor factors with no name, batch code, date code or any kind of identification whatsoever on them!
