Hi, ive got a puzzler. Assuming a double wishbone suspension system with pushrod and rocker.

Installation ratios can be changed using different pivot pick-up distances from the centre of a rocker quite eaisily......But in a rising rate suspension system, how do you change the rate that the installation ratio changes (the rate of increase in stiffness), without changing coil spring stiffness????

Ive heard about rockers being mounted on cams to change the linkage positions but how do these work and look like?

Thanks!

Never done it, but I guess you would change the angle between the input/output pickups on the crank.
