The FTO has developed a nasy dqueak from the front passenger side when the suspension is loaded up.

Its lowered 45mm front and 35 mm at the rear, and a few months ago it was in the garage as I was getting clokcs and bangs on full lock, and it turned out that the springs were twisting. The garage refitted the springs and had reinforcement plates welded into the suspension top mounts (or something like that).

I was also told when I had the car inspected that one of the front dampers was on the way out(but i'm unsure which one)

So...any ideas what is causing the squeak? Could it be the damper, or should I return it to the garage, or something else entirely?

Anything I can check?

You should change dampers in pairs anyway so it doesn't really matter which one is on it's way out. If you're still interested which one then the mec will have condemned it based on seeing fluid leaking out or by doing the bump test, both of which you can do yourself.

Check the ball joints, mine are squeaking like the devil at the moment..

Make sure they are greased and the gators are in-tacked and that they have no play.
