Lanica Integrale brake pads/disc to stop squeeling
Discussion
Hi, what brake disc pads (standard calipers) to people recommend to reduce the squeeling on integrale evo 1 front brakes. It did happen with standard discs and pads, now I've had the discs upgraded to TECNO2 and some Ferrodo racing pads put on and they squeel like hell! (were great on track though, didn't fade, didn't boil my fluid and stopping power is really good). I only want to change the pads for now.
it's DOT 5 fluid, not that it makes a difference to the squeeling.
thanks

There are a myriad of anti-squeal formulas available on the market , but the latest trick I have been taught at the dealership where I work is to smear a coat of copper anti-seize compound on the backing plate, just as you would anti-squeal. Just make sure you don't get any on the pad face or rotor or you may not have any brakes at all.
Also check to make sure the pad faces aren't glazed.
