Sliders on 205 gti Bendix calipers

Does anyone know the best way of getting the sliders out of the caliper?

I would hope that I could loosen both mounting bolts and remove one at a time so the whole caliper would not have to come off.

Could I then pull the slider out through the hole where the mounting bolt goes?

Yes, as long as they aren't corroded in place, you may find needlenose pliers to be of some use. If they are a bit sticky try wiggling or rotating them as you remove them.

Be careful to not damage any rubber boots that may be present.

Coat them with high temp grease before reinstalling them.
