i've gotta buy some new shocks pretty soonish, everyone tells me that the s2 bilsteins are a great upgrade, then one posted raving about how good the protech adjustable shock is.

has anyone had any experience with either, or both?

help!?!

Road use or track?

For road use, I'd stick with the Bilsteins... Lotus spent a lot of time working out the best ride/handling compromise and they have a bit of a reutation for knowing what they're doing, in that department! wink

I'd only go for the Protechs, personally, if you were planning to do a lot of track days and, either, running stiffer than normal springs and/or you like the idea of playing around with settings yourself to learn how they influence the car's handling.

You'd probably get a lot more detailed response in the Elise forum, though, or even better on the SELOC technical forums.
