Hi

Could anyone point me in the right direction of an online guide to fitting a rear disc brake conversion on a Corsa?

What parts are required the method etc?

Thanks in advance

It's a tough one but I'd say I have a need to fit disc brakes to corsa stub axle.

wink

I could tell you why but I'd have to kill you!

Anyone?

They're a bit thin on the ground, only the 1.8 Sri had discs.

I've been told that cavalier discs and calipers fit, but without confirmation.

Aparently there's a plate required.

I thought it was a fairly common mod......

Might want to ask on a vauxhall related forum.

migweb.co.uk maybe.

erm......go to scrap yard. Find a corsa GSI.

Take the entire back axle.

Fit it to yours.

May i ask, WHY ?????

I have a 2.0 corsa track car, and use drums... they have a GREAT handbrake, unlike the disks and calipers would. given the weight on the rear wheels in a corsa, i'd say there is very little to gain in a disk conversion.

But anyway if you really want to do it the hard way....

u'll need a set of mk2 astra stub axles for a start. try finding them !
