GOLF MK III VR6 - Suspension and Brakes

Hi,

New to the forums, but it was recommended to me by a good friend. Basically, i`m in need of a new suspension and brake system (pads, calipers and discs) but i don`t have a clue where to start. I`m not particularly interested in coilovers because i`ll just let the car sit at the height it`s at (35mm lowered on springs) and i really don`t have a fortune to spend on this (insurance renewal)! I need a comfortable ride that handles as well as possible. So far i`ve been offered Bilstein and G-MAX, but i know nothing about either except the price!

Any help or expertise offered on the matter, i appreciate.

Bilsteins what you want then - the gmax kit is whats commenly found on the chavved up corsa in morrisons car park, it will rattle your teeth out!
