CAn anyione advise who does a good upgrade to fit the standard TR6 upright within a 15" wheel. Upgrade is for a race application.

Many thanks

Don't know of anyone specifically, but it's the sort of thing Rimmer Brothers are likely to do if anyone does.

At the Autosport show earlier this year I asked AP what they thought could be done with an M's brakes. They were prepared to look at a front/back disc arrangement with balance adjustment but without servo. From the weight and weight distribution they were confident a good kit could be supplied. I didn't get to costs and haven't got that far yet but personally I would recommend going to a specialist.

John

The setup I had (along with Ian B and I think Venny had a set) were vented/crossdrilled 280mm discs with AP 4 pot calipers. They were nothing short of astonishing, so I think you will be just fine with a 300mm/AP setup. The 280mm setup would just clear a 14in wheel if there were no balance weights on the inside of the wheel, so you will have an extra few mm clearance with 300mm/15in wheel.

It will take you some time to re-calibrate your brain as to how late you can brake with an M series car!

Best of luck with the car

Brain, whats one of those..rofl

Late braking is something I've grown used to with the Sagaris and therefore the first port of call for a mod on the M. smile
