15" tyres

What is the lowest profile 15" tyre you can buy ?

Try a few combos in mytyres or blackcircles - you should soon find out!

Some manufacturers (including Toyo) sell 195/45 15's. Tricky to get hold of though.

Avon also sell a 245/40 15 designed for the newer Caterhams. Beware, it is a VERY soft tyre and has a really low load rating.

Avon also sell a 215/40 15, comments as above.

I am really looking for a 40 profile but at a maximum width of 195.

when you say its a soft tyre, is it a List 1b ACB10 or similar tyre or just a 'normal' road tyre?

ACB10's are a list 1b type tyre. Not too up on them (I use CR500's on my kit car) so it would be best to talk to someone like BMTR.
