rose jointed rear suspension

Have a look here for starters http://www.beardmorebros.co.uk/website%20pages/new...
This site can provide some good info http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/index.php but there are a few people who think they know what they are on about but dont really.....

First, check the class regulations.
I'm not at all familiar with MiniStox, but the regs quoted on this link, suggest that it needs to remain pretty much standard Mini trailing-arm suspension with no negative camber, so rose jointing would be a fairly pointless exercise... you could perhaps fabricate trailing arms that replicate the geometry of the Mini trailing arms, with Rose joints replacing the normal (needle roller?) bearings at the subframe ends, but the advantages would be negligible. Even that might be illegal - I note that the regs for the front suspension stipulate standard components. It doesn't explicitly state the same thing for the rear suspension, but I would check before embarking on any special fabrication work if I were you!

The basic rule of thumb (pardon the pun) with all motor racing categories is that if the rules don't specifically state that you can do something, then you should assume that you can't!
I can't see anywhere on your rules that states 'rear suspension design is free'. If I were you, therefore, I'd still talk to your club's tech inspector/scrutineer before launching into fabrication of a special rear suspension... I've a feeling that if you turn up with a fully Rose jointed double wishbone rear end with pushrod operated dampers in what is clearly intended to be a budget class, they'll not be impressed!
In any event, the Autgrass/Stock Cars that I've seen tend to place the emphasis on robust construction rather than sophisticated geometry. Ive seen plenty of sucessful Class 9/10 Autograssers with very crude (but strong) trailing- or semi-trailing arm rear suspension, whereas the sorts of linkages shown on John Beardmore's web pages would be far too fragile to be considered suitable.
