Creaking Suspension & Judder

I have recently had new tyres / wheels rebalanced and know I am due a set of front discs/pads (and new lower arms 12mths ago when I complained of a similar problem)

- When cold the suspension seems to creak when going over the speed ramps on my estate no matter how I go over them

- Until I have done a few miles there is significant judder / knocking through the steering wheel but by the time I have got to work the judder has gone

In both cases the dealer has not indicated anything being wrong - mainly because when they have got round to inspecting it is mid way through the day and things seem to have warmed up. When I say cold I mean air temperature outside being below 5 degrees


I am wondering if it is the gas strut or steering rack/joints? Any other suggestions...
