Hi All,

Does anyone know if these are any good for normal road use? Nothing particularly spirited - Just finding pads for my MX3 is somewhat challenging - APEC are another option but are more expensive!

I'm a big fan of Apec pads, I use them all the time and have never had a problem with them. EBC, though, that's a different story.

Wouldnt use EBC pads as paperweights to be honnest..had the missfortune to have had cars with them in (greens and reds) and they were boardering on dangerous.
Most people who I know who race or rally use Padgid, Mintex or Ferodo...I have Padgid blues in mu quattro and have been excellent but expensive, Ive have ferodo DS3000 in a trackday car and they were unbeleivably good. I ran Mintex m1177's in my 205 rally car, they never faded but were very hard on the discs....

Got EBC Reds on my Impreza and they're terrible. Stopping power is reduced, brake feel is poor and the discs need to be replaced due to scoring, etc.

Maybe std. discs are too soft, but will never buy these again.

Cheers,
