Replacement Bora springs

I have just snapped a front spring on my Bora 1.6 and am looking at getting a set of second hand springs to repair it. There are a couple of sets for sale on ebay from TDI Bora's but what effect would these have on the car? They are presumably stiffer and so would this make the car sit very high? There is also a set for sale from a TDI sport, would these be stiffer but a bit shorter and so not increase the ride height?

It's not worth fitting used springs, buy some pattern ones from a motor factor, they're not that expensive.
