My Jeep Grand Cherokee corners like a boat...

Is there anything I can do to stop my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 cornering like a boat?

It feels like it's going to tip over on every roundabout.

I've installed after-market anti-sway bars but these made the ride very hard so i've thrown them away.

Would a set of performance Shock Absorbers help the problem or am I flogging a dead horse.
