Hi chaps,

Does anyone know if its possible to run a 185 tyre on a 7" wheel? My car is running 185 wide on the front and 205 on the rear (13" rims) and I am looking at getting a set of the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels, but they only make the 13" in 7 wide.... its for racing, not for road use.

Cheers,
James

Theres a rim width calculator on this page.

http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

Now it does vary a bit with different tyres. But a good rule of thumb I'd say.

Yes 888's is what I'm using. Interesting they fit ok as the tyre calculator linked above suggested 6.5 was the widest for a 185 tyre... Maybe I will give them a go!
