Im wanting to change my coilover springs to a softer rate next week before i put my car in for a geo set up. I have phoned the manufacturer of the coilovers in America and the gave me the spec of the softer springs they would supply but they dont have any in stock.

Specs are in american sizes Front 7kg Spring 62mm ID 150mm Length
Rear 10kg Spring 62mm ID 180mm Length

Could anyone convert these to normal specs and any sugestions of where to get them.
Thanks

American would be pounds per inch etc, you have the metric stuff there, 7kg/mm, 150mm free length etc

Oh sorry just when looking on sites here most of the rates were in lb.

Had a dig around on the net and found some convertors so looks like they are

Front 392lb . 2.5" . 6"
Rear 560lb . 2.5" .7"

Could anyone confirm that and give me an idea of where to get them.

I think you'll want to be looking a 2.5 inch springs, or at least ask them if 62mm metric is the same as 2.5inch imp, as 2.25 inch at 57mm which will be tight if you *need* 62mm.

If there are dedicated metric 62mm, then you'll need to find them.
