What could be causing this?
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Got a bit of a groan coming from the car at the moment. Gets louder with speed, and only apparent 30mph+. Completely disappears when turning right (NSL bends etc). So I took the wheels off and swapped back to front and front to back to eliminate the tyres as the cause of the noise. no problem there, so am suspecting a wheelbearing that is either loaded or unloaded when steering right.
But on taking the N/S rear wheel off was confronted with this.

Naturally I will be getting new discs and pads as there is a small change in level of the surface of the disc, but was wondering what could cause this?
Any thoughts?
Ta,
Andy
