Suitable mgb brake upgrade

Hi guys, i'm wanting to upgrade the front calipers on my mgb, as she's now got a v8 on board so stopping from speed might get a little hairy on the standard calipers.

People say that princess calipers are a direct replacement, but they seem as rare as hens teeth these days as all the mk 2 escort boys seem to have got hold of them all.
I know another option is aftermarket calipers such as willwood, however this is a bit of an expensive option with my already spiralling out of control budget lol.

Are there any descent 4 pot calipers that could bolt straight on, that I could couple up with some nice vented discs???? I'm thinking maybe some of the jap wagons might have something suitable,

If you can find a set of calipers from a Triumph 2000, you could re-create the MGB V8 front brakes.

Apart from that, if your current brakes are in top notch condition (no sticking pistons etc.) then changing to some decent pads will make a significant differences. Something like Ferodo DS2500 will work long after stock pads have given up, but don't work too badly from cold either.
