How do All,
I'm wondering which way up you are supposed to fit progressive suspension spring?
Logically, well in my mind, you would fit the spring end with the tighter coils (more coils per measured length, if you will) towards the top mount or the static position.
I have a 50/50 chance of being right. Hot or cold?

Doesn't matter.
If the closer coils are towards the top you have very slightly less unsprung weight, but the other way up and you have a tiny little bit lower CoG.

But as far as the spring is concerned it won't care.

Cheers for the swift reply Phillip,
Would it matter if they were both fitted different ways up then, one each for each side of the car.

Not really, the differences would be absolutely tiny, orders of magnitude lower than anything you've ever notice biggrin
