Is it possible to work out what else uses the same pads?

I have acquired a big brake kit consisting of semi floating discs and 4 piston calipers made by ATE and marketed by Heico (a Volvo tuner).

I know someone like Carbotech could take the pads and remanufacture them or use them as a model for new pads, but how could I go about checking what other applications use the same pad design?

I have contacted ATE and Heico but have had no reply as yet.

Try checking out the catalogues at your local motor factors or as a last resort Halfords!!

Thanks for the link, but I've checked there already and not found anything - the catalogues seem to cater for standard applications only.

I solved this problem by selling the whole lot!

Pads and discs were available from Heico, pads were a reasonable price but discs were around £500 each so I decided to cut my losses and bail out.

FWIW I am expecting a set of pads from EBC for evaluation on the standard setup.
