Punto - Rear Brake Shoes Worn out after 3months use!
Discussion
Evening folks,
My daily shed '99 Fiat Punto 1.2 has rear brake drums, I replaced all the brakes 3months ago for the MOT, passed with no issues but did squeal a bit although could never put it down to either front or rear doing it. They were from Halfords (get trade discount). Recently they started grinding and grumbling, took off the drum on the drivers side, found the 'front' shoe completely worn down on the metal only on the upper edge (1/3 of shoe length). Abit peeved that ive only had them on for 3months amd knackered already.
Anyone any idea as to what would cause the uneven wear?
I fitted them, it seemed, properly and according to haynes so unsure as to if ive incorrectly fitted them (cant see how, pretty simples) or they were/are crap?
