Prepping Calipers For Paint?
Discussion
Got some new (well, second hand) calipers to go on my car, and I want to paint them.
They are currently black / brown thanks to years of use.
My Dad's bead-blasted them, which has cleaned them up a lot, but I think I just need to get something to clean them with to losen up the rest of the dirt.
Suggestions?

Gunk (I like the green-gunk best), to remove oil etc
Then working in some Nitromors with a wirebrush (watch out for spray !) to get the last of the old paint off.
I've taken to dappling the paint on using sections of spunge, rather than painting. Gives a very smooth finish, without hassle of spraying.
Use a small stiffish brush (craft-shop type) to get into tight spots.
Many thins coats rather and build up, rather than a few thick coats.
