Well after reading all of the raving reviews about Chris at Centre Gravity (http://www.centergravity.co.uk/) on various forums i decided i would be foolish to not take my 996 c4 on a trip to Tamworth and pay him a visit myself.... and for once i was right smile
What can i say that hasn't already been said. Not only a really nice guy but he is a genius, what he doesn't know about geometry setup isn't worth knowing.
He took his time explaining how it all works, why he makes the adjustments as well as listening to my concerns and requirements...
After scaring me senseless around, and round, and round a round about during the pre-inspection test drive to find it's current breaking point he then took me around while he checked the existing components... His inspection showed that i needed 4 new track control arms and an inner track rod end fitted.. Everything else was perfect, thankfully!
I then left Chris to do his stuff while the wife dragged me around the Bullring shopping......
When i returned it was all done, again Chris showed me the faulty parts as well as taking me under the car showing what adjustments he made before going out on the final test run... and OMG! The car is transformed, it now feels so planted, stable and dynamic compared to before, the difference is night and day... and i am one happy chappy smile

One other thing Chris commented on was my wheels / spring combo... He was astounded that the ride quality was on par with a standard C4... despite running on 30mm lowered springs and 20" alloys.... Apparently the last one he drove with 20's on was shocking.... Glad I'm not the only one that's happy with the ride quality, maybe it's more to do with the weight of the wheel rather than the size...
