Quick question, when dealers perform a brake fluid service what do they do? Is it just a case of draining and refilling the reservoir, which means lots of old fluid in the lines. Or do they bleed it through on each brake caliper?

Thanks.

they should bleed the new stuff through the whole system, including the clutch hydraulics. and if necessary, purging the abs valve block via diagnostic machine as well. whether or not they do however, is a different matter biggrin

Thanks. I think my Golf GTi needs doing, the brakes feel a little softer than they used to be.
