need to prepare my mini for respray

hello

my mini 1982 city is currently red and i want it resprayed snowberry white (old english white) creamy colour. but unfortunatly ive got to keep costs back. ive found a resprayer for the job but to keep the costs down i have to prepare the car myself.

i need to know:
what primer to use if covering filler and preivous paint.
what filler and hardener to use.
what wet and dry paper to use to rub the primer down.
also how to prepare the paint work befor adding primer.

any help much appreciated
