I've just bought a Carbon airbox for my car and have heard that they can turn "milky" from the heat within the engine compartment. Is there any preventative product that I can use which will stop this happening?

Thanks in advance.

They go milky due to UV from the sun, not heat.
There's nothing on the market for protecting against heat, short of a heatsink.
Just don't clean harsh chemicals, and you'll be grand.

Thanks, the airbox is for my 911 so there's no light in the engine bay.
