Evening all.

I've been cleaning and am not happy with the stuff i used for the interior, it's just an aerosol citrus spray that i got from halfords, it's a matt finish but although i was careful to wipe it all even it seems to have dried in the pattern i sprayed it. In hindsight spraying it on the cloth might have been easier but ho hum.

It's worse on the door card leather and i'm worried i've damaged in long term.

So i had a browse through ebay and found this.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Natural-Care...

So, given that BMW stuff is generally 20% more expensive than an unbranded similar i'm sure the exact same stuff will be available elsewhere for a fraction of the price and in greater volumes.

What do you lot use that's effective, doesn't cost the earth and being a matt finish would be an advantage.

David.

Are the door cards leather or a vinyl? A decent apc (All Purpose Cleaner) is a starting place applied by cloth, or you can go onto LTT Solutions website and buy what is possibly the best leather cleaner and protector in the business for reasonable money. Patience and a warm day are two elements of cleaning leather.

It feels like leather but that's not to say it is.

Its' a 2006 5 series if that helps.

I would start with some apc....use sparingly and see what comes off onto the microfibre. Then move onto the LTT Solutions products.
