Hi Guys Changing the headlamp bulb on my car there was a small clip which snapped off.
It locks the cap at the rear of the unit which opens to let you change the bulb.
This cap which is shaped like a bottle-top has a plastic hook which clips over the little ledge on top of the headlamp.
All made of hard plastic.
The hook on the cap is in place but the little ledge is locates on has snapped off.
You would be mistaken if you think this is a photo but, hopefully it does the job.

Shoulf I use a self-tapper where the ledge snapped off and locate the end cap over that or could I build a new ledge with some liquid metal, araldite jobby?
What do you reckon guys?

I'd go with the self-tapper, perfectly acceptable repair in my opinion, only needs a small one to go into the plastic.
