my alpina got keyed a while back and i am finally getting it resprayed under insurance.....
will need a full respray of all panels bar the roof....
would you use solus stanstead or bartech cambridge?
to use bar tech i will have to pay an extra on my excess... Aviva for you, as solus is their recommended...
any posters please remember the name and shame rules, so simply state who you would use...

I personal wouldn't use any of there body shops it with in your right to take it to any body shop of you choice in the country at no extra cost!!
Aviva often try to do this with our customers although the clearly so not work to the standards required for tvr, Aston ect.. Had to rework alot of there poor work before!

I have come across the work of the first bodyshop you mention before a few times (different branch though). I wouldnt let them near my car. Do you have a BMW bodyshop close by ??
bmw bodyshop did the driver's door skin in 2010 when someone drove into it, and TBH the colour match (titan silver) left me very disappointed....this time colour match is less of an issue as most of the car will get redone..... just don;t want someone rushing it and say taping bits off to get it done cheap/quick.... not sure the bmw bodyshop will oblige..... the assessor for the insurer is happy for car to be stripped for preparation....
