I've put a couple of coats of Meguiars NXT wax on my car over the last few days. I won't be using the car for a while and have a lot of time on my hands for the next 2 weeks. Is it worth repeating as many times as possible and will that make the finish longer lasting? Don't want to waste my time...

Any advice appreciated!

Should mention I'm driving in Scandinavia and the road salt here is like some special, sticky, cold-weld-itself-to-your-car horrible fecking stuff!! That's why I'm happy to give it another 4 or 5 coats if it'd really help.

4-5 coats of NXT is probably about 2 coats of this stuff:

:-) maybe just use a stronger wax like collinite

But its probably a matter of diminishing returns after about 2-3 layers.
Not to mention that you need time between the layers for them to cure.

Cheers for the info, gonna finish the NXT before buying anything else... >tightwad<

What's a decent curing time for most waxes then? Is 24hrs enough??

24hrs is more than enough.
