I found some overspray under the spare wheel well area on my wife’s car at the weekend and was wondering what is the best way to remove? The previous owner did mention the rear bumper had some new paint at some point but it seems the body shop hadn’t masked off the area properly and paint has gone everywhere.

Some of it is quite thick, not just speckled so will require something fairly abrasive to shift it. I was told that a clay bar might remove it but not so sure.

What do you guys recommend?
